Surah Ar-Rad Verse 1-3

In this modern era, there are still many Malay entrepreneurs who believe in the use of talismans to increase their profits. The use of charms, talismans, or money amulets is detrimental to one’s faith and sinful because it associates partners with Allah.

However, there are other practices for business success that can be adopted. The recitation of business success verses is to be recited after completing the obligatory prayers five times a day and can also be recited when you intend to go to your place of business or when you want to open a shop, accompanied by the correct intention to earn a livelihood for your wife, children, and family.

Surah Ar-Rad verse 1 In Arabic Text:

الٓمٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

ALIF-LAAAM-MEEEM-RAA; TILKA AAYAATUL KITAAB; WALLAZEE UNZILA ILAIKA MIR RABBIKAL HAQQU WA LAAKINNA AKSARAN NAASI LAA YU’MINOON

Alif-Lãm-Mĩm-Ra. These are the verses of the Book. What has been revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ from your Lord is the truth, but most people do not believe.

Surah Ar-Rad verse 2 In Arabic Text:

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍۢ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّۭ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى ۚ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ

ALLAAHUL LAZEE RAF’AS SAMAAWAATI BIGHAIRI ‘AMADIN TARAWNAHAA SUMMAS TAWAA ‘ALAL ‘ARSHI WA SAKHKHARASH SHAMSA WALQAMARA KULLUNY YAJREE LI AJALIM MUSAMMAA; YUDABBIRUL AMRA YUFASSILIL AAYAATI LA’ALLAKUM BILIQAAA’I RABBIKUM TOOQINOON

It is Allah Who has raised the heavens without pillars—as you can see—then established Himself on the Throne. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each orbiting for an appointed term. He conducts the whole affair. He makes the signs clear so that you may be certain of the meeting with your Lord.

Surah Ar-Rad verse 3 In Arabic Text:

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَدَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنْهَـٰرًۭا ۖ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ۖ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

WA HUWAL LAZEE MADDAL ARDA WA JA’ALA FEEHAA RAWAASIYA WA ANHAARAA; WA MIN KULLIS SAMARAATI JA’ALA FEEHAA ZAWJAIN ITHNAYN; YUGHSHIL LAILAN NAHAAR; INNA FEE ZAALIKA LA AAYAATIL LIQAWMINY YATAFAKKAROON

And He is the One Who spread out the earth and placed firm mountains and rivers upon it, and created fruits of every kind in pairs.¹ He covers the day with night. Surely in this are signs for those who reflect.

Business owners no longer need to seek uncertain means of success and should avoid mixing with magic. It is feared that due to such practices, our faith may deviate. True success comes from Allah’s will combined with our own blessed efforts. Seek and request from Him by reciting those verses.

Non-Muslims can also progress without talismans through hard work. The key to success in business is to not neglect Allah’s commandments.
