Private home prices up 3.4% in Q2, making for 7.3% rise in first half of 2018: URA data


A 3.4 per cent hike in the private residential prices is in track with the approximations that the Urban Redevelopment Authority data released on the 27th July 2018. This hike followed the previous quarters increase and tallies to a total of 7.3 per cent increase for the beginning half of 2018.
Looking forward at the second half of the year, statistics show signs of a further increase in the landed properties prices. Units taken up by rentals also shows sign of positive growth compared to previous quarter both for landed and non-landed properties.
