1) Contentment of Believers` Hearts against Enemies

 

As Muslim had to fight the disbelievers who were their worst enemies and wanted to wipe them out, so, Allah SWT disclosed many of the instructions regarding combating them without any fear.

 

Surah At-Tawbah verse 14 In Arabic Text:

 

قَـٰتِلُوهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍۢ مُّؤْمِنِينَ

عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍۢ مُّؤْمِنِينَ

 

QAATILOOHUM YU’AZ ZIBHUMUL LAAHU BI AIDEEKUM WA YUKHZIHIM WA YANSURKUM ‘ALAIHIM WA YASHFI SUDOORA QAWMIM MU ‘MINEEN

 

Fight them. Allah will punish them at your hands, and humiliate them, and He will help you against them, and will heal the hearts of a believing people. [Quran, 9: 14]

 

The above stated Ayah directs the true disciples of Islam not to hesitate from fighting the rivals of God. The believers will be granted success with the Help of Allah, and eventually their hearts will be assured with peace and tranquility.

 

2) Assurance of Hearts, and Seeking Direction and Compassion through Quran

 

The Sacred Book of Quran contains numerous teachings and lessons which stimulate one`s Islamic belief, relieves stresses, act as a great source regulating one`s life, and listening, learning and reading of Quran verses prove as means of getting Allah`s Clemency.

 

Surah Yunus verse 57 In Arabic Text:

 

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَآءٌۭ لِّمَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

YAAA AIYUHAN NAASU QAD JAAA’ATKUM MAW’IZATUN MIR RABBIKUM WA SHIFAAA’UL LIMAA FIS SUDOORI WA HUDANW WA RAHMATUL LIL MU’MINEEN

 

O humanity! Indeed, there has come to you a warning from your Lord, a cure for what is in the hearts, a guide, and a mercy for the believers [Quran, 10: 57]

 

It means that the Gracious God has given us the opportunity to benefit greatly from His Instructions in order to get rid of all kinds of problems and worries kept inside our hearts, and also gain Supervision and Forgiveness of the Almighty.

 

3) Healing of Diseases through Honey Bees

 

Long before the modern advancement in medicine and pharmacy, people used to cure diseases through naturally grown herbs. The natural environment of the earth keeps many of the blessings of Allah SWT that He has maintained for human`s benefit. Honey is also one of those great phenomena of this world that acts as a great source of remedy for many kinds of illnesses. The Almighty Lord says in the Holy Quran:

 

Surah An-Nahl verse 69 In Arabic Text:

 

ثُمَّ كُلِى مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسْلُكِى سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًۭا ۚ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌۭ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٌۭ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ

 

SUMMMA KULEE MIN KULLIS SAMARAATI FASLUKEE SUBULA RABBIKI ZULULAA; YAKHRUJU MIM BUTOONIHAA SHARAABUM MUKH TALIFUN ALWAANUHOO FEEHI SHIFAAA’UL LINNAAS, INNNA FEE ZAALIKA LA AAYATAL LIQAWMINY YATAFAKKAROON

 

Then eat from all the fruits, and go along the pathways of your Lord, with precision. From their bellies emerges a fluid of varying colors, containing healing for people. Surely in this is a sign for people who reflect. [Quran, 16: 69]

 

It shows that it is the great favor of the Gracious God upon us that honey bees make honey for us through their unique characteristic fluids. This ultimately leads to curing complex diseases and is also scientifically proven in this regard.

 

4) Remedy for Believers in Quran

 

The Creator of the Universe has repeatedly reminded us about the great advantages of reading and understanding the Holy Quran. It discusses such matters which directly result in attaining the peace of mind, brings one closer to the Almighty, and results in gaining uprightness etc.

 

Surah Al-Isra verse 82 In Arabic Text:

 

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌۭ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًۭا

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌۭ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ

 

WA NUNAZZILU MINAL QURAANI MAA HUWA SHIFAAA’UNW WA RAHMATULLIL MU’MINEENA WA LAA YAZEEDUZ ZAALIMEENA ILLAA KHASAARAA

 

We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss. [Quran, 17: 82]

 

The above mentioned Quranic lines tell us that this Sacred Scripture has got much influential content and substance which prove as a therapy for different kinds of mental and heartily problems, and is indeed a great cause of getting Allah`s Kindness.

 

5) Believing in Allah`s Power to Cure Sickness

 

It is the utmost condition for being a true Muslim is to believe in Allah`s complete Command over each and every matter concerning life and in the entire universe. One should remain steadfast on this conviction and stay calm in every kind of misery whether it is physical or mental, for this is the standard of Islamic Faith.

 

Surah Ash-Shu’ara verse 80 In Arabic Text:

 

وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ

WA IZAA MARIDTU FAHUWA YASHFEEN

 

And when I get sick, He heals me [Quran, 26: 80]

 

This verse simply directs every true disciple of the Religion of Peace to have a clear conscious about Allah`s never dying Ability to make every matter easy and heal all sorts of ailments. The Holy Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said:

 

 “There is no disease that God Almighty has created, except that He also has created its treatment.” (Bukhari)

 

6) Quran as a Guide and Healer for Believers

 

Before Islam, people used to worship many gods and had forgotten the instructions of the previous Prophets. So, the Almighty Lord helped them recover from state of misery to attain righteousness through the Holy Book of Quran revealed upon His Messenger, Hazrat Muhammad saw

 

Surah Fussilat verse 44 In Arabic Text:

 

وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَـٰهُ قُرْءَانًا أَعْجَمِيًّۭا لَّقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا فُصِّلَتْ ءَايَـٰتُهُۥٓ ۖ ءَا۬عْجَمِىٌّۭ وَعَرَبِىٌّۭ ۗ قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هُدًۭى وَشِفَآءٌۭ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرٌۭ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَمًى ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُنَادَوْنَ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ

قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هُدًۭى وَشِفَآءٌۭ ۖ

 

WA LAW JA’ALNAAHU QUR-AANAN A’JAMIYYAL LAQAALOO LAW LAA FUSSILAT AAYAATUHOO ‘A A’JAMIYYUNW WA ‘ARABIYY; QUL HUWA LILLAZEENA AAMANOO HUDANW WA SHIFAAA WALLAZEENA LA YU’MINOONA FEEE AAZAANIHIM WAQRUNW WA HUWA ‘ALAIHIM ‘AMAA; ULAAA’IKA YUNAADAWNA MIM MAAKAANIM BA’EED

 

Had We revealed it as a non-Arabic Quran, they would have certainly argued, “If only its verses were made clear ˹in our language˺. What! A non-Arabic revelation for an Arab audience!” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “It is a guide and a healing to the believers. As for those who disbelieve, there is deafness in their ears and blindness to it ˹in their hearts˺. It is as if they are being called from a faraway place.” [Quran, 41: 44]

 

The above cited verse indicates that Muslims have been given a great favor from Allah SWT in shape of Furqan e Hameed, which is the source of bringing out the ignorant ones from darkness of evil and immorality towards attaining enlightenment of heart and soul.

 

In short, the entire Holy Quran is full of such Surahs and Verses which not only result in getting the Almighty`s blessings, and forgiveness of wrongdoings, but also has enough information about healing of all physical and spiritual ailments through His Assistance.
